About us
Our Story
Genotype Health emerged from a commitment to simplify genetic testing and make it accessible to everyone.
My personal connection to genetic health runs deep. I was born with a rare genetic disorder that has shaped every aspect of my life. Living with chronic health issues from a young age has been both challenging and eye-opening. It gave me a firsthand understanding of the physical, emotional, and financial toll that complex health conditions can have—not just on individuals but on entire families. I was incredibly fortunate to be born in Australia, a country with affordable and accessible health care. But even in one of the best health systems in the world, I often struggled to find answers and appropriate treatments. My experiences ignited a passion within me: to improve global healthcare access and empower others like me to plan and prepare for their future with the knowledge and options they need.
Professionally, I dedicated my career to working in public health and strengthening healthcare systems across Asia, Australia, and Papua New Guinea. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with governments, nonprofits, and healthcare providers to improve access to health services. These experiences reinforced how vital it is for individuals to feel empowered and informed when making decisions about their health. Combining my personal and professional insights, I was inspired to create a service that makes genetic screening accessible, affordable, and empowering so people can approach their family planning and health journeys with confidence and clarity.
